Collection and Use of Personal Information
Music Blast Global collects certain personal information from our customers. This information includes, without limitations, your full name, mailing address, phone number, email address, IP addresses, browser type, purchased music and other account information. We may choose to use this information to provide you with market-specific opportunities such as giveaways or radio contests. We may also use this information to help improve, add and remove services, according to customer needs. Your social security number will only be used for legal verification. None of your information will ever be given or sold to any 3rd party companies, nor to any employees of Music Blast Global not specifically involved in the use of such information.
Collection and Use of Non-Personal Information
Music Blast Global may collect certain non-personal information such as area codes and zip codes, city, state, country, race and age. This information will be used for statistical purposes only.
For clients who sell music on our site Music Blast Global also uses your UPC and ISRC codes to report sales to Nielson SoundScan, the official sales tracking organization of the music industry. These sales figures are used by companies such as Billboard to compile their various sales charts. This information is also used by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) to tabulate sales for the purpose of issuing Gold and Platinum certifications.
Other Uses
In the event that we are summonsed by law enforcement or government authorities it may be required to release certain personal or non-personal information, as allowed by law.
In the event that Music Global Blast merges with another company, your information will be transferred to a new account with the new company or relevant 3rd parties involved.
To help secure your data we use SSL encryption. Even with safeguards in place to greatly increase your security no website can be 100% secure, as all internet sites are susceptible to attacks. We cannot guarantee the risks or damages associated with those intrusions of our privacy, and therefore any information submitted to us, either directly or indirectly, shall be at your own risk.
Age
You must be at least 13 years of age to use our service. We do not collect information on persons under the age of 13 and any discovery of such a fact will result in that information being immediately deleted. If it is determined that a child under 13 has set up an account with Music Blast Global that account will be immediately deleted.
